The best thing you can do right now is to read up. Speak up. Get everybody informed. The US needs to find a way to support this without tainting the reform movement.

I agree with the exhortation to get informed, but I’m not quite sure *how* the United States could in any way support this without tainting the reform movement besides “in a clandestine way so secure that no one would ever find out” which doesn’t exist. Any show of United States support adds an element that is at best a double-edged sword and at worst a deathblow to this movement.The Obama administration should at most simply hold off on outreach to Iran’s government at the moment *maybe* saying “I understand folks still have things to figure out before the government is settled, and so we’ll hold off a bit.”
